Internship Role

Worked as R&D engineer Intern at 2H offshore, Paris, France. The topic of the internship is "Anchoring and Mooring of Floating offshore wind turbines (FOWT)".

objectives:

1. Scientific study of floating wind turbines.
2. Compare the different floater structures and choose the optimum floater structures and choose adequate moorings ( by considering the seabed properties and floater) for the deep-sea conditions (for the water depth of 200m and 300 m).
3. modeling of the floating offshore wind turbine in orcaflex
4. Design and modelling of mooring system for deep sea state(100m, 300m and 1000m)
5. Mooring analysis for the floating wind turbine for extreme environmental conditions

softwares used: ORCAFLEX, PYTHON, ORCAWAVE
