    The next TEDxCentraleNantes event will take place on our school campus on February 6, 2026!We are fortunate to welcome six speakers who will speak on our theme: BEYOND THE LIMITS.Among them are two students from the school and one alumnus! Here is the list of our speakers, also available on our social media:Bruno PerrierFirefighter on mission in the French Southern and Antarctic Lands (TAAF).  Bruno Perrier is a trained firefighter. He draws on his experience managing a small team for several months in the French Southern and Antarctic Lands. A profound introspection, a new vision of human relationships and relationships with oneself, and a list of lessons on our ability to discover and push our limits.Françoise Pera-Berthier Professional CoachFrançoise PERA-BERTHIER is a trained translator and teacher who has switched to professional coaching. She supports people through personal transitions and professional upheavals in companies. She then decided on a new revolution in her life: to leave her successful professional career to become a clown and make people laugh. She will teach us to dare to live our lives without limits, demonstrating that these are only imposed on us by ourselves.Florian VarnierEmployee of the Raoul-Follereau association Florian Varnier is first and foremost an engineer who graduated from the École Normale Supérieure and then shifted his focus to the non-profit sector. He has been responsible for communication campaigns, fundraising, and volunteer teams.He uses his engineering background to develop innovative solutions focused on fostering solidarity and He uses his engineering training to develop innovative solutions focused on developing solidarity and commitment among all. Solutions that would allow us to overcome the limits that each of us imposes on ourselves. Towards a new and rethought solidarity that breaks free from the limits of current models.Romain Olla An activist for social and climate justice who seeks to place the public interest at the heart of the political sphere. Romain Olla is a former student of the École Centrale de Nantes. Since obtaining his engineering degree, Romain has been working alongside citizens engaged in climate struggles, opposing large-scale polluting projects. He is expanding his means of action, proving that the fight for his ideals is only a function of the commitment of its authors, pushing the limits of what is possible. He will offer us a new possible vision of the world, beyond the limits we sometimes set for ourselves.Calixte Parendel Engineering student at Centrale NantesCalixte is a 21-year-old student who lives in the present. He lives with modern technologies, the latest means of communication, and information systems. However, what prevents us from communicating with our ancestors? And vice versa? Why do older people limit themselves when it comes to interacting with young people? How can we explain this fear of intergenerational dialogue, which limits our interactions and the richness of our exchanges? A questioning of our own limitations in our system of communication between generations.Luca TinebraEngineering student at Centrale NantesLuca Tinebra is a student at the École Centrale de Nantes. He is in the middle of his five-year engineering degree in France. He has been able to test his way of thinking and how his brain works. How does it process information, and how can it be trapped and limited by biases? Based on shared experiences and reflections, Lucas invites us to become aware of our cognitive biases in order to better overcome them and thus push the limits of our brainpower even further.  A quick note about the practical side of the event: we are always looking for partners and sponsors.
