Since September 2024, Centralab, the new Fablab at Centrale Nantes, has opened its doors on campus. This space for prototyping and experimentation is dedicated to creativity, innovation, and knowledge sharing in fabrication.
Centralab is the result of the transformation of the school’s historic fabrication workshops, now enhanced with new digital manufacturing tools (3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, etc.), while preserving the traditional equipment that reflects the technical heritage of Centrale Nantes.
Open to the entire campus community, but also to incubated startups on campus, and partner companies. It supports educational projects, research initiatives, and collaborative technological development.
The space is evolving with its users, built on a spirit of DIY, openness, and collaboration.
